Doctor, 3 nurses suspended as 4 lose vision after operation at LG hospital, Ahmedabad -Tv9

A resident doctor at AMC-run L G Hospital has been sacked after four out of five patients who were operated there for cataract removal on March 11 complained about loss of vision. The civic body has also issued showcause notices to hospital superintendent Dr Yogendra Modi and HoD of the department of ophthalmology Dr Beena Desai in connection with the incident, and also suspended three nurses, said AMC Deputy Commissioner I K Patel Wednesday.
